Job summary

St. Andrew's CofE First School, Barnt Green, is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor to help create a positive, calm lunchtime experience for children up to year 4.

You will assist with setting up and clearing tables, supervise the dining area and playground, and encourage inclusive play in a friendly school setting. The role is permanent, term-time only, 6.25 hours per week (Mon-Fri lunchtimes), and includes safeguarding checks (DBS) as part of the appointment process.

We are looking to employ a lunchtime supervisor at our lovely school.

We are a friendly and inclusive first school where children are happy, valued and encouraged to REACH their full potential within a caring community.

We are seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor who will work as part of a supportive and committed staff team to ensure that lunchtimes are positive, calm and enjoyable. The successful candidate will build warm relationships with pupils, promote good behaviour with kindness and consistency, and encourage positive, active and inclusive play so that all children feel involved and cared for.

The role involves setting up and clearing away tables, cleaning tables and the dining area, whilst also supporting children in the dining area and outdoors, helping them to develop social skills, independence and respect for others.
