Job summary

We Manage Jobs seeks a Lunchtime Supervisor for St Richard's C of E First School in Evesham. The role involves supervising children during lunch times and ensuring their welfare and safety on school grounds and within dining areas.

A DBS check is required, and the post is part-time with a 5-hour week commitment. The successful candidate will support pupils, assist with meal service, report concerns to the Headteacher, and help maintain a clean dining environment in a church school that values

Qualifications

  • To supervise children on school premises and grounds during lunch times.
  • To monitor use of catering facilities and ensure safety.
  • To report dangers to the Headteacher and maintain a safe environment.
  • To assist with setting up and clearing away dining areas.
  • To administer basic first aid if trained.

We are seeking a lunchtime supervisor to join our team!

Main Purposes of Role

To ensure, individually or as part of a team, the welfare and safety of all children remaining within school grounds or buildings during lunch times.

Key Accountabilities
  • * To supervise children on school premises and grounds.
  • * To supervise children who use catering facilities at the school.
  • * To use initiative in monitoring events occurring on the school premisesand grounds.
  • * To report any relevant matters or dangers to the Headteacher.
  • * To ensure a safe environment (e.by reporting broken glass to the Caretaker).
  • * To report any minor injuries to children to the designated person / administer first aid if appropriately trained (i.e.cuts, bruises).
  • * To help children partake of food when necessary.
  • * To undertake ancillary duties as necessary (i.e. setting up and clearing away tables, cleaning tables and dining area).
  • * To watch for intruders on the site during periods of duty.
