Job summary

Blakedown CE Primary School is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor to join the lunchtime team. The role covers a 7.5-hour workweek during lunchtimes with DBS clearance required for safeguarding pupils.

The successful candidate will supervise children during lunch, assist with serving meals and ensure health and safety throughout the period, with duties including setting out dining furniture and initiating play activities.

Job Title: Lunchtime Supervisor
Salary: £4,561 per annum pro rata
Hours: 7.5 hours per week
Location: Blakedown CE Primary School
Permanent

This position requires you to provide lunchtime supervision as part of our dedicated and hard-working lunchtime team.

As a lunchtime supervisor, you will be required to:

• Set out/clean and put away dining furniture
• Help to serve lunch
• Supervise children inside and outside
• Initiate play activities during lunchtime
• Provide for the health, safety and welfare of children during lunchtime.

You must have a keen interest in working with children, be a reliable and positive role model who is professional, trustworthy and polite at all times. A good standard of communication and literacy skills are also required. Availability to work is required every day, Monday-Friday between 11.45 a.m. and 1.15 p.m.

This is a church school and you should be at ease with the Christian ethos of our school. The successful candidate will need to undertake a DBS check.
