Job summary

Your Recruiters Limited is seeking an experienced Cook / Chef to provide short-term cover in a busy workplace catering environment in Loughborough. This hands-on role supports the existing catering team with food preparation, cooking and service.

You will need to be confident working independently in a kitchen while also assisting front of house on the servery during the busy lunchtime period. This is temporary cover for three shifts on specific dates.

Qualifications

• Professional cooking experience required.
• Ability to prepare and cook food to a good standard.
• Comfortable helping with customer service and food service.

Responsibilities

• Support with food preparation and cooking.
• Prepare food for lunchtime service.
• Cook and present food to a good standard.
• Assist the catering team throughout the day.
• Help on the servery during lunch rush.
• Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace.
• Support with general kitchen duties as required.
