Job summary

Your Recruiters Limited is seeking an experienced Cook / Chef to provide short-term cover in a busy workplace catering environment in Loughborough. This hands-on role supports the existing catering team with food preparation, cooking and service.

You will need to be confident working independently in a kitchen while also assisting front of house on the servery during the busy lunchtime period. This is temporary cover for three shifts on specific dates.

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Contract: Temporary Cover

• Monday 12th October
• Tuesday 13th October

Hours: 9:30am-4:00pm each day

We're looking for an experienced Cook / Chef to provide short term cover within a busy workplace catering environment in Loughborough.

This is a hands on role where you'll support the existing catering team with food preparation, cooking and service. You'll need to be confident working independently within a kitchen environment while also being happy to help front of house on the servery during the busy lunchtime period.

• Preparing food ready for the lunchtime service
• Cooking and presenting food to a good standard
• Assisting the existing catering team throughout the day
• Helping on the servery during the lunch rush
• Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Following food hygiene and food safety procedures
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen workspace
• Supporting with general kitchen duties as required

What are we looking for?

• Previous professional cooking experience
• Previous experience within catering, cafés, restaurants, canteens or similar environments
• Confidence preparing and cooking food
• Comfortable helping with customer service and food service
• Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety
• Reliable and able to commit to the required dates
• Able to work effectively as part of a small catering team

Key Information

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Hours: 9:30am-4:00pm

Location: Loughborough

This is temporary cover for three individual shifts, so applicants must be available on the required dates.
