Job summary

We are seeking reliable, flexible and enthusiastic Casual Catering Staff to provide cover for staff sickness, absence and other operational requirements across schools in Loughborough and the surrounding areas. Qualifications

• Reliable, flexible and enthusiastic for cover across schools.
• Experience in catering desirable but training provided.
• Enhanced DBS check and other pre-employment checks are required for successful applicants.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of food and beverages.
• Supporting basic cooking activities under supervision.
• Serving and transporting meals.
• Setting up and clearing dining areas, service points, equipment, and furniture.
• Washing crockery, cutlery, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining cleanliness within the kitchen, dining areas, and associated facilities.
• Assisting with the movement and arrangement of dining furniture.
• Undertaking other duties appropriate to the role as directed by the Catering supervisor/Manager
