Job summary

Sodexo Live! at Glasgow Airport is hiring Lounge Hosts to deliver exceptional service in a busy lounge environment. You will engage guests, take orders, and assist with light food presentation in a fast-paced setting.

We value team spirit, communication and top-notch customer service, with attention to detail. A safety-conscious attitude and ability to work within airport procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• Front of house and customer facing experience.
• Some experience with food handling or presentation is desirable.
• Highly motivated and able to use own initiative within a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service from the preparation, presentation and service of food and beverages.
• Set the bars, ensuring condiments, glasses, cups etc are neatly arranged.
• Load service counters as directed and ensure stocks are replenished during service.
• Ensure lounge seating area is clean and arranged as per lounge plan.
• Assist the chef with simple food preparations and fruit boards, cheese boards, etc.
• Provide efficient and friendly service to lounge customers and meet their needs.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service from the preparation, presentation and service of food and beverages.
• Set the bars, ensuring condiments, glasses, cups etc are neatly arranged
• Load service counters as and when directed and to ensure sufficient supplies throughout the service period.
• Ensure that the lounge seating area is clean, sofa chairs and tables are arranged as per the lounge plan.
• Assist the chef with some food preparations for example fruit plates, cheese boards etc.
• Provide an efficient and friendly service to lounge customers, ensuring that all their needs are met.
