Job summary

Sodexo Upper Deck Glasgow airport is hiring Lounge Hosts to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast‑paced, live aviation environment.

Join a team that values teamwork, attention to detail and a positive attitude. You’ll prepare and present drinks and snacks, maintain lounge areas and assist guests with their needs throughout shifts.

The role follows a 3 days on/3 days off pattern with early starts, parking available, and security vetting in place.

Qualifications

• Front of house and customer facing experience required.
• Some food service experience is beneficial.
• Must be highly motivated with attention to detail.
• Able to work on own initiative within a team.
• Desirable: Lounge experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service from preparation, presentation and service of food and beverages.
• Set the bars, ensuring condiments, glasses, cups are neatly arranged.
• Load service counters as directed and ensure sufficient supplies.
• Ensure lounge seating area is clean and arranged as per lounge plan.
• Assist the chef with food preparations (fruit plates, cheese boards).
• Maintain lounge cleanliness during operating hours.
• Provide efficient and friendly service to lounge customers meeting their needs.

What you'll do

• Provide excellent customer service from the preparation, presentation and service of food and beverages.
• Set the bars, ensuring condiments, glasses, cups etc are neatly arranged
• Load service counters as and when directed and to ensure sufficient supplies throughout the service period.
• Ensure that the lounge seating area is clean, sofa chairs and tables are arranged as per the lounge plan.
• Assist the chef with some food preparations for example fruit plates, cheese boards etc.
• Maintain lounge cleanliness during lounge operating hours.
• Provide an efficient and friendly service to lounge customers, ensuring that all their needs are met.
