Job summary

Sodexo Live! in Glasgow Airport is seeking a Lounge Host to deliver exceptional front-of-house service in the Upperdeck lounge. You will help with bar setup, keep the lounge tidy, and assist chefs with simple food preparations while ensuring guests receive a warm, efficient experience.

The role emphasizes team spirit, strong communication, and attention to detail. Weekend shifts, early starts, and strict health & safety adherence are part of the role, with vetting and long-term reliability

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service from the preparation, presentation and service of food and beverages.
• Set the bars, ensuring condiments, glasses, cups etc are neatly arranged.
• Load service counters as directed and ensure supplies throughout the service period.
• Ensure lounge seating area is clean and arranged as per plan.
• Assist the chef with simple food preparations such as fruit plates and cheese boards.
• Maintain lounge cleanliness during operating hours.
• Provide efficient and friendly service to lounge customers and meet their needs.

Package Description

• £13.12 per hour
• Typical example of hours are 4:15am - 12:45pm & 12:30pm - 9:00pm
• Weekend Shifts
• Mandatory vetting
• You must be able to provide 5 years working history, and 5 years address history
• Staff car parking available

Main Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service from the preparation, presentation and service of food and beverages.
• Set the bars, ensuring condiments, glasses, cups etc are neatly arranged
• Load service counters as and when directed and to ensure sufficient supplies throughout the service period.
• Ensure that the lounge seating area is clean, sofa chairs and tables are arranged as per the lounge plan.
• Assist the chef with some food preparations for example fruit plates, cheese boards etc.
• Maintain lounge cleanliness during lounge operating hours.
• Provide an efficient and friendly service to lounge customers, ensuring that all their needs are met.
