Here at Aviva, we are currently seeking a Loss Adjuster for a home-based position, visiting customers in Hampshire and Sussex. To be considered, you must have a full UK driving license and reside in this region, as customer visits are an integral part of the role.

About the job:

You will be responsible for providing a customer-focused and cost-effective service by handling property claims from instruction to completion, ensuring all claims are managed within financial authority limits. The role is based from home and involves reasonable travel across the UK. We offer flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, to provide the best service. A company car will be provided for travel.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Experience with high-value claims, ideally around £100,000, but experience over £50,000 is also considered.
  • Minimum qualification of Cert CII or CILA; Dip CII is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of insurance principles, subrogation, underwriting practices, and ABI report writing.
  • Knowledge of building practices and regulations related to property reinstatements and tendering processes.
  • Proven track record of managing claims from start to finish with a focus on customer satisfaction.
