Job summary

Long Term Futures Ltd is seeking a caring Reception Teaching Assistant to support learning in a welcoming primary school in Binley, Coventry (CV3). The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm during term time, with a long-term contract ending at the academic year’s end and potential permanent progression for the right candidate.

You will help deliver phonics sessions, support pupils with SEN needs (ASD, Makaton, PECS), and work within the EYFS framework to foster an inclusive classroom.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
• Experience: minimum of 1 year in a Primary School or Preschool.
• Experience teaching phonics and supporting SEN (e.g. ASD, Makaton, and/or PECS).
• Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Support whole-class learning in a welcoming primary school.
• Assist with phonics and SEN support within the classroom.
• Help maintain an inclusive, safe and positive learning environment.
