Job summary

OpenAI in London is seeking a Manager of Applied AI Architects to lead a team of senior technical leaders responsible for technical strategy, customer journey, and production value for OpenAI's largest customers across North EMEA.

You will set the operating model for Applied AI Architecture, partnering with Sales leadership to prioritize portfolios, allocate resources, and translate business priorities into credible use cases and adoption roadmaps.

Qualifications

Minimum 10+ years in customer‑facing technical roles such as solutions architecture or AI deployment.
Demonstrated experience leading and coaching senior technical teams.
Strong executive communication with CTO/CIO/board level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Applied AI Architects across North EMEA, owning technical strategy and path to production value.
Set operating models and align priorities with Sales, Accounts Directors, and Product teams.
Ensure technical account plans, milestones, and adoption priorities are visible and actionable.
Represent the executive sponsor for critical engagements and coordinate cross‑functional experts (deployment, security, product, research).
Drive portfolio health, customer outcomes, and durable value while fostering responsible AI deployment.
