Job summary

OpenAI in London is seeking an Applied AI Architect to be the senior technical owner for a named portfolio of customers, shaping their AI strategy and guiding their journey from discovery to production value.

You will own the technical account plan for OpenAI's enterprise solutions, translate business priorities into focused use‑case portfolios, and work with cross‑functional teams to deliver measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as solutions architecture or technical account leadership.
• Proven ability to guide enterprise customers from evaluation to production adoption.
• Strong software and cloud architecture foundations including APIs and distributed systems.
• Comfort with Python or JavaScript and API-based integrations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor and long‑term technical relationship owner for a named portfolio of existing customers.
• Own the technical account plan, milestones, adoption priorities, and expansion opportunities.
• Lead executive discovery to identify and priority high‑value use cases.
• Develop applied AI architectures spanning models, data, integration, security, and governance.
• Guide customers through evaluations, demonstrations, workshops, and proofs of value.
• Maintain a focused use‑case portfolio with clear ownership and success metrics.
• Coordinate with Deployment Engineering, enablement, product and partners to deliver value.
