Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Manager of Applied AI Architects to lead a senior technical team across Europe, responsible for technical strategy, customer journey, and measurable production value for OpenAI's largest customers. You will translate business priorities into credible architectures and adoption roadmaps.

Based in London with a hybrid schedule, you will coach engineers, align regional go-to-market, partner with Sales, Product and Research, and act as an executive technical sponsor for critical

Qualifications

• 10+ years in customer-facing technical roles such as solutions architecture or AI deployment with large enterprises.
• Experience leading senior technical teams and managing complex portfolios.
• Proven ability to translate business priorities into technical strategies and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Applied AI Architects.
• Define strategy and operating model for Applied AI Architecture across Europe.
• Partner with Sales and Account Directors to prioritize accounts and allocate resources.
• Own technical account plans, milestones, adoption priorities, and growth opportunities.
• Lead complex customer journeys from discovery to production adoption.
• Coach the team on architectures spanning models, data, security, and deployment.
• Build relationships with C-suite and senior leaders as executive sponsor.
• Coordinate with Deployment, Product, Engineering, Research, Security, Legal and Partners.
