Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking a Gateway Coordinator in London to support fast-paced international freight operations. The role involves coordinating consignments through the gateway, liaising with airlines, and ensuring timely, compliant processing of shipments.

The ideal candidate will have freight forwarding or logistics experience, knowledge of import/export procedures, and strong Excel/Word skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding or logistics environment.
• Familiarity with import/export procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; good communication.
• Strong organisation and ability to work to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate movement of consignments through the gateway
• Manage schedules and ensure regulatory standards are met
• Coordinate collection/delivery with airlines and internal teams
• Complete customs reporting and operational documentation
• Maintain data in operating systems and track invoicing and milestones
• Resolve queries from customers and suppliers professionally
