Job summary

Adria Solutions Ltd is seeking a enthusiastic Junior IT Support Engineer in London to provide first and second-line IT support across a fast-paced environment. You will help with hardware/software deployments and ensure users receive high-level technical assistance.

The role involves working on-site in London, supporting Windows 10/11 and basic AD administration while collaborating with a growing IT team. Training and career development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree, apprenticeship or relevant qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline is desirable.
• Previous IT Support/Service Desk experience is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11.
• Basic Active Directory administration.
• Experience supporting desktop and laptop hardware.
• Knowledge of printers and peripheral devices.
• Understanding networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, wired/wireless).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Well organised with ability to prioritise workload.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-line IT support to end users.
• Respond to and resolve IT incidents and service requests within agreed timescales.
• Install, configure and support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and peripherals.
• Support Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments.
• Assist with user account administration and access requests.
• Provide remote support using remote access tools.
• Monitor and maintain IT equipment and ensure systems remain reliable.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers as needed.
• Maintain IT asset records and technical documentation.
• Assist with hardware rollouts, equipment refreshes and IT projects.
• Follow IT security policies and best practices.
• Liaise with third-party suppliers and vendors when necessary.
