Job summary

WR Logistics in St Albans is recruiting a Sales Account Manager to develop and manage customer relationships, drive outbound sales and handle quotations. Based in a modern St Albans office, you will join a small sales team and contribute to growth with a proactive phone-based approach.

The role emphasizes turning conversations into business, owning customer relationships, and learning the logistics industry as you progress. Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, account management or customer service with regular telephone contact.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Comfort with discussing quotes, orders and transport requirements over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Call prospective and existing customers to discuss transport requirements.
• Follow up quotations and orders to secure business.
• Manage customer accounts with regular contact and updates.
• Negotiate with customers and suppliers to reach agreements.
• Coordinate with colleagues to handle enquiries and shipment needs.
• Maintain accurate customer records and provide basic administration.
• Participate in sales meetings and customer meetings as required.
