Job summary

TRC Yorkshire is seeking a motivated Logistics Consultant for our Newcastle head office to support a major national client across multiple depots. You will recruit drivers, manage workforce planning, and build long-term client relationships while ensuring high standards of service and regular reporting to the client.

The role requires travel to client sites, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to drive your own vehicle.

INTERNAL VACANCY: Logistics Consultant – Head Office (Newcastle, NE11 9DJ)

Pay: £26,500.00 - £29,000.00 per year

Salary: £26,500 - £29,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + monthly bonus opportunities

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00–4:30pm (with out-of-hours expectations)

Benefits: 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), long-term progression opportunities

We are looking for a motivated and relationship-focused Logistics Consultant to join our Transport division at our office in Newcastle, NE11 (Please note onsite presence will be required for our clients across the UK) This role will support one of our major, national clients who operate across multiple depots.

This is a key role for someone looking to grow within the business, manage a high-profile account and help expand our footprint into additional sites.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Recruiting and onboarding high-quality drivers
• Liaising daily with the client across multiple sites
• Building and developing strong, long-term client relationships
• Managing workforce planning and supporting shift coverage
• Identifying opportunities to grow the account into new depots
• Providing regular updates, reports and proactive solutions to the client
• Ensuring consistent high standards of service delivery
• Travelling to client sites when required (must be able to drive and have own vehicle)
• Representing TRC professionally and supporting the wider transport team

• Able to travel to client depots as needed (must hold full UK driving licence + own vehicle)
