Job summary

TRC Yorkshire is seeking a motivated Logistics Consultant for our Newcastle head office to support a major national client across multiple depots. You will recruit drivers, manage workforce planning, and build long-term client relationships while ensuring high standards of service and regular reporting to the client.

The role requires travel to client sites, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to drive your own vehicle.

Qualifications

• Proven recruitment experience within logistics/transport.
• Strong relationship builder with excellent communication skills.
• Ambitious and proactive in managing high-volume accounts.
• Must hold full UK driving licence and have own vehicle.
• Highly organised with ability to prioritise fast-moving workloads.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting and onboarding high-quality drivers.
• Liaising daily with the client across multiple sites.
• Building and developing strong client relationships.
• Managing workforce planning and supporting shift coverage.
• Identifying opportunities to grow the account into new depots.
• Providing regular updates, reports and proactive solutions.
• Ensuring high standards of service delivery.
• Traveling to client sites as required and representing TRC.
