The Recruitment Crowd is recruiting for an Onsite Logistics Consultant in Barnsley. The role oversees daily onsite operations, builds client and workforce relationships, ensures staffing levels, and maintains compliance with service standards.

The position offers a basic salary of 27,000–30,000 per year (DOE) with an uncapped monthly bonus and clear progression, training, and pension provisions in a friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within recruitment, transport or logistics is advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and recruitment systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day onsite operation.
• Liaising with the client regarding daily staffing requirements.
• Booking, allocating and confirming agency drivers.
• Conducting inductions and ensuring all compliance is maintained.
• Monitoring attendance, sickness, holidays and shift fulfilment.
• Supporting driver engagement and retention.
• Resolving operational issues quickly and professionally.
• Recruiting new drivers to maintain healthy workforce levels.
• Updating internal systems and producing reports where required.
• Working towards KPIs and service level agreements.

Location: Barnsley, S74

Salary: 27,000 - 30,000 per annum (DOE) + Uncapped Bonus

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Role
