Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a motivated and experienced Driving Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in Leicester. This permanent role offers long-term career progression and the chance to significantly increase earnings through commission.

You will build client relationships, source drivers, and develop your own desk in the driving and logistics sector with ongoing training and support.

• Experience in recruitment, ideally in Driving/Logistics/Industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.

• Understand driver requirements and provide recruitment solutions.

• Match candidates to driving vacancies (temp/contract/permanent).

Requirements

Essential:

• Previous experience within recruitment, ideally within the Driving, Logistics or Industrial sectors
• Strong knowledge of the UK driving recruitment market
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Confident telephone manner
• Strong sales and business development ability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Good understanding of recruitment compliance and right-to-work requirements

Desirable:

• Minimum of one year's experience within Driving Recruitment
• Existing relationships within the transport and logistics sector
• Experience managing temporary and contract drivers
• Knowledge of driver compliance, licence checks and working-time requirements
• Full UK driving licence

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Driving Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for managing and developing a successful recruitment desk.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients
• Developing new business through outbound calls, networking and lead generation
• Understanding clients' driver requirements and providing suitable recruitment solutions
• Advertising vacancies across job boards and other recruitment channels
• Sourcing, interviewing and registering suitable drivers
• Matching candidates to temporary, contract and permanent driving vacancies
• Completing candidate compliance and eligibility checks
• Managing driver availability and coordinating bookings
• Maintaining regular communication with clients and candidates
• Ensuring shifts and bookings are filled efficiently
• Managing client accounts and delivering excellent customer service
• Working towards individual and team targets
• Maintaining accurate records on the recruitment CRM

As a Driving Recruitment Consultant, you will also be expected to:
