Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Daventry is seeking a Planning Assistant to support the production planning, liaise with customers, and coordinate warehousing teams. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract (full-time) based at Crick Side.

You will monitor the production plan, track stock levels and provide data for reporting. Experience with warehousing and WMS such as Nulogy or Blue Yonder is valued.

Qualifications

• Warehousing experience essential.
• Experience with WMS and planning systems (Nulogy, Blue Yonder) desirable.
• Stock/inventory tracking experience.
• Excellent planning and communication skills.
• IT literacy: Excel, Word, MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support with customer liaison and regularly communicate with the customer on calls and via email.
• Communicate and work closely with admin, stock and warehouse teams.
• Monitor the production plan closely and ensure it is up to date and accurate.
• Monitor consumables stock levels, completing a weekly consumables account and keeping an accurate tracker.
• Provide data to management team as required for reporting purposes.
