Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Derby is seeking a Planning Administrator on a 6-month secondment to support warehouse operations and workforce planning.

You will coordinate administration, attendance, onboarding/offboarding, and booking schedules, liaising with hauliers and transport partners to keep the operation running smoothly.

Strong Excel skills and experience with Warehouse Management systems (Blue Yonder) are desirable; Monday–Friday 10am–6pm, 37.5 hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an administrative, planning, logistics, or warehouse support role.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling data, reports, and workforce records.
• Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support daily warehouse planning activities, ensuring resources are aligned to operational requirements and service level targets
• Coordinate employee administration, including onboarding, offboarding, attendance, overtime, and agency workforce processes
• Manage inbound and outbound booking schedules, maintaining strong relationships with hauliers and transport partners
• Act as a key link between planning, operations, transport teams, and external partners to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
