Job summary

DS Smith in Devizes is seeking a Warehouse Co-ordinator to maintain stock control, co-ordinate inbound and outbound movements, and ensure materials and finished goods are available to meet production and customer delivery requirements. The role also supports planning and scheduling to keep production on track.

The position includes standing in for the Production Planner during absences, ensuring orders and production schedules are maintained and raw material needs are met.

Qualifications

• Experience with stock control and cycle counts.
• Ability to coordinate inbound and outbound movements.
• Willingness to back up Production Planning when needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day site warehouse operations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Monitor warehouse capacity and optimise stock locations.
• Maintain records of all inventory transactions in company systems.
• Coordinate movement of finished goods to meet delivery requirements.
• Work with Production, Customer Services, Transport and Supply Chain teams to ensure on-time orders.
• Support loading, despatch and receipt of goods.
• Stand in for Production Planner during absences; identify efficiency improvements.
• Support projects to reduce costs and improve service levels.
