Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Daventry is seeking a Planning Assistant to join our logistics team. The role focuses on daily planning, liaising with customers, and coordinating with admin, stock and warehouse teams to keep the production plan accurate.

The successful candidate will have warehousing experience and familiarity with WMS systems like Nulogy and Blue Yonder, plus strong Excel and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Previous warehousing experience is essential.
• Experience with planning systems (Nulogy and Blue Yonder) would be desirable.
• Stock/inventory tracking experience.
• Excellent planning skills with a proven track record.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• IT literate – Excel and Microsoft packages.

Responsibilities

• Support customer liaison and communicate with customers by calls and email.
• Coordinate with admin, stock and warehouse teams.
• Monitor the production plan to keep it up to date and accurate.
• Maintain weekly consumables stock levels and accurate trackers.
• Provide data to management for reporting as required.
