Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Southampton is seeking a logistics professional for a 12-month contract, 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday. The role focuses on planning inbound/outbound shipments across ENA and globally, with direct customer and carrier liaison and KPI-driven cost control.

You'll build knowledge of the customer's distribution network, drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and contribute to cost optimisation and service delivery in a dynamic matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in network planning preferred
• Experience in logistics planning role preferred
• Understanding of KPI-based cost control and service delivery

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute inbound/outbound shipments across ENA and globally.
• Provide operational and customer service support for LLP services with carrier liaison.
• Develop understanding of customer's business to optimise distribution network.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to raise service levels and reduce costs.
• Respond to management reports and monitor KPI performance against contracts.
• Engage with and influence across business entities and suppliers.
