Job summary

RecXchange in Uxbridge, West London, is seeking a Transport Planner / Dispatch Coordinator to join a busy construction materials operation. You will sit at the center of the workflow, taking orders, planning deliveries, coordinating with drivers and production teams to get the right materials to the right place on time.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, with experience in logistics or transport beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in coordinating deliveries and working with drivers and customers is beneficial.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confident communication across customers, drivers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Take and process customer orders accurately.
• Plan and schedule deliveries throughout the working day.
• Upload orders and maintain information on internal systems.
• Coordinate between customers, drivers, production and internal operational teams.
• Monitor workloads and proactively adapt schedules as priorities change.
• Help ensure vehicles and deliveries are utilised efficiently.
• Communicate confidently with drivers and customers.
• Resolve day-to-day delivery and scheduling issues.
• Keep customers informed and provide high levels of service.
