Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in West London to join a busy construction materials operation. You will take customer orders, plan deliveries, coordinate with drivers and internal teams, and ensure products reach customers on time.

This role sits at the heart of operations, requiring strong organisation, clear communication, and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or operations would be beneficial.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Willingness to learn industry specifics and adapt to processes.

Responsibilities

• Take and process customer orders accurately.
• Plan and schedule deliveries throughout the day.
• Upload orders and keep internal systems up to date.
• Coordinate between customers, drivers, production and internal teams.
• Monitor workloads and adapt when schedules change.
• Help ensure vehicles and deliveries are used efficiently.
• Communicate confidently with drivers and customers.
• Resolve day-to-day delivery and scheduling issues.
• Keep customers informed and provide high levels of service.
• Collaborate with batching and production teams to keep operations running smoothly.
