Smurfit Westrock UK is seeking a Logistics Operator to manage inbound/outbound goods, off-load from HGV/LGV and operate counter-balance forklifts and clamp trucks. You will use Vision II stock management, PSA planning, and work closely with Purchasing to ensure materials meet production needs.

You’ll contribute to continuous logistics improvements while adhering to health and safety procedures, supporting a team and covering shifts as required.

Formación

• Ability to work in a team or independently with minimal supervision.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace.
• Excellent timekeeping, ambition and desire to succeed.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Manually pick material ready for sheeting department.
• Operate Vision II Stock Management system for stock checks and bookings.
• Check job criteria and status using the PSA system.
• Transport and off-load goods from HGV/LGV using counter-balance forklift and pallet trucks.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to confirm material availability for Production.
• Assist in other areas during peak times and maintain safe work practices.
• Maintain equipment and perform in-process checks (paper/electronic).
• Cover shifts during holidays or busy periods as needed.
