Job description

My client has a turnover of £15 million and has a large depot and a small engineering facility in Croydon, prouding high value components which are distributed across the UK and Europe. They are high valued and need careful handling.

This is position will be responsible for all the operations in the business and as such will have manage a large team, effective leadership is essential and the ability to manage staff on a day to day basis. This often involves ensuring employees are motivated and focused at extremely busy periods, in addition to the managing the HR and operational issues.

The role will involve liaising with engineering project managers, sales and the Directors within the business.

The company has grown considerably over the last 3 years and this is expected for the future and therefore it is expected the role and department will evolve over the next year and the company have a preference for somebody who is able to manage the department through considerable change and restructuring.
