Adler & Allan in Shaftesbury is looking for an organised Operations Coordinator to keep the site running smoothly. You’ll coordinate waste movements, support customers and manage transport compliance on a day-to-day basis.

You'll handle bookings, liaise with drivers and suppliers, maintain records and assist with load planning and stock management to ensure efficient operations. The role requires a proactive communicator with attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team.

Qualificações

• Confident, friendly telephone manner and strong customer service skills.
• Clear communication with drivers, yard teams and colleagues.
• Good literacy and numeracy for handling paperwork.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Competence in Word and Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate inbound and outbound waste bookings, including schedules, quotations and relevant waste documentation.
• Manage customer, supplier and internal enquiries, providing day to day operational support.
• Maintain accurate records, databases, traffic schedules and authorised purchase orders.
• Support daily load planning, waste collections, stock management and processing requirements.
• Monitor driver and transport compliance, including working time, Digital Tacho Card downloads and infringement reporting.
• Coordinate vehicle defect reporting, maintenance and inspections to ensure the fleet remains compliant and operational.
