Job summary

Yusen Logistics is seeking an experienced Logistics Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth for the Lifestyle & Technology vertical from our Northampton site (NN7 2FR). Hybrid role with up to 3 remote days per week, plus UK travel. Salary £50,000–£60,000, Mon–Fri 9am–5pm.

Qualifications

Proven business development experience in logistics.
Experience managing end-to-end tender processes.
Excellent presentation skills and ability to persuade.
Analytical mindset with data-driven decisions.
Proactive and results-oriented.

Responsibilities

Support sales strategy to achieve revenue targets, focusing on new customers within Lifestyle and Technology.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including potential customers and partners.
Manage key stages of the sales cycle from initial contact through RFQ and negotiations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver customised logistics solutions.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions and competitive landscape.
Identify cross-selling opportunities for different business units.
Proactively seek new leads and attend industry events.
Prepare and present sales reports to senior management with insights and recommendations.
