Job summary

Thames Water in London is seeking a Logistics Co-ordinator to join our team on a full-time basis. You will assess resource needs, prioritise tasks for field engineers and collaborate with Schedulers across regions to keep projects moving smoothly.

The base location is Crossness STW, East London, with Monday–Friday 7am–5pm hours. The role requires strong planning, clear communication and an organised approach.

Qualifications

• Organised with good scheduling/planning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Competent with Salesforce, Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Driving licence preferable.

Responsibilities

• Work with Schedulers across regions to build fluid, resilient processes.
• Draft procedures/guidelines as reference points.
• Ascertain workload to prioritise jobs on planned and reactive bases.
• Plan and allocate collection and delivery tasks to Support Drivers via Salesforce.
• Plan jobs for works preparation and ensure materials/equipment are delivered and set up.
• Schedule collections and site clears to avoid penalties.
• Ensure Safe working environment and uphold Thames Water health & safety commitment.
• Manage and prioritise the Driver's work stack to meet priority jobs.
• Provide daily updates on resource utilisation and planned/reactive jobs.
• Review weekend forecast to plan resources effectively.
