Job summary

The Best Connection Bolton is recruiting for a Customer Service Representative on behalf of a leading logistics company serving one of the UK's largest supermarket networks. The role involves liaising with multiple sites, stores, and customers to ensure a first-class service is delivered at all times.

You will act as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email and internal systems, resolving queries and handling complaints with professionalism in a busy logistics operation.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, customer support, or logistics administration experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• Ability to handle complaints and challenging situations professionally and calmly.
• Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and internal systems.
• Communicate with various customer sites and departments to resolve queries efficiently.
• Handle customer issues, complaints, and service challenges professionally and effectively.
• Investigate problems, identify solutions, and take ownership of issues through to resolution.
• Liaise with stores, transport teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Accurately document customer interactions, queries, and resolutions.
• Maintain and update spreadsheets, databases, and internal systems with a high level of accuracy.
• Carry out data input and administrative tasks whilst ensuring attention to detail at all times.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and office code of conduct standards professionally.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent customer experience.
