Job summary

Ambitions Personnel are recruiting a Warehouse Administrator / Logistics Coordinator for a busy site in Runcorn, Cheshire. The role involves data management, stock control and coordinating loads with customers and the shift team.

You’ll use Excel, WMS (ProSKU) and SAP, produce reports, and support onboarding of new clients. It is a 4‑on/4‑off rotating shift pattern with day and night pay rates.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse administration role.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines.
• A proactive approach and the ability to use your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Taking the lead on new client onboarding and administration set‑up.
• Creating reports and maintaining accurate stock data.
• Creating load orders in a timely manner to support shift efficiency.
• Working closely with customers to ensure all loads are planned and booked.
• Establishing load and order volumes for collections and communicating requirements to the Shift Supervisor.
• Running loads/orders to release picking work to available warehouse lanes.
• Working closely with Warehouse Operations Controllers.
• Ensuring customer‑specific requirements, spreadsheets, pallet labelling and stacking requirements are completed accurately.
• Producing load detail notes for collections.
• Ensuring loads are prepared correctly for delivery times and photographs are taken and stored.
• Completing daily reports using Excel templates.
• Producing accurate labels for inbound deliveries and pallets.
• Reporting delivery mismatches to the Stock Administrator.
• Reporting dispatch order issues to IT and following these through to resolution.
• Liaising with colleagues at other depots and external contacts.
• Organising and maintaining paperwork and computer‑based information.
• Using WMS (ProSKU) and ERP (SAP) systems.
