Job summary
Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Oxford to manage outbound logistics, shipping schedules and documentation across road, sea and air channels. You will work with internal teams and external partners to optimise delivery performance and support digitalisation across the supply chain.
The role involves improving processes, balancing customer expectations with manufacturing capacity, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a Zero Harm safety
Qualifications
- Experience in outbound logistics and shipping across road, sea and air freight channels.
- Knowledge of export, shipping and transportation documentation requirements.
- Experience working with ERP systems, ideally SAP.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Structured analytical approach to problem solving and decision making.
Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of shipping schedules and ensuring alignment with production, customer and business requirements.
- Preparing, reviewing and maintaining accurate shipping documentation and compliance records.
- Coordinating shipments to ensure the right materials arrive at the right place and at the right time.
- Responding proactively to logistical challenges and minimising disruption.
- Working with freight forwarders and logistics partners to optimise delivery performance.
- Reviewing and approving invoices related to shipping and logistics activities.
- Supporting new product introductions and end-of-life planning from a logistics perspective.
- Managing delivery parameters to balance customer expectations and supply constraints.
- Monitoring delivery performance through KPI reporting and digital dashboards.
- Leading continuous improvement projects using Lean methodologies.
