Job summary

Driver Hire Bury St Edmunds is seeking a Logistics Agent for a client in Bury St Edmunds. The role is temporary with a pay rate of £13.45–£20.18 per hour, including overtime and weekends, and a guaranteed 37.5 hours per week.

You'll monitor drivers' hours, support transport compliance, deliver professional customer service, and assist with health & safety and admin tasks. Training will be provided and flexibility to shift patterns is required.

Qualifications

• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisation with attention to detail.
• Confidence using computers and standard office systems.
• Ability to work accurately in a busy logistics environment.
• Proactive approach to solving day-to-day problems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of transport, drivers' hours or compliance would be beneficial (training provided).
• Previous experience in logistics, transport, administration or customer service is an advantage.
