Job summary

Vertical Advantage Ltd is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join its growing Supply Chain team in the UK. You will oversee the customer order process, coordinate with 3PLs, and act as the main contact for UK customers, ensuring timely deliveries and smooth operations.

This role offers exposure to FMCG logistics, cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Supply Chain, and opportunities to drive process improvements and performance reporting.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Order Management: Oversee the customer order process, ensuring orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
• Customer Service & Support: Act as a key point of contact for UK customers, managing order queries and delivery updates.
• 3PL & Logistics Coordination: Work with external warehouses, hauliers and transport providers to ensure seamless operations.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Sales and Supply Chain teams to support promotions and customer requirements.
• Transport & Delivery Performance: Monitor delivery performance and implement preventative measures.
• KPI Reporting: Track logistics performance and reporting for continuous improvement.
• Process Improvement: Support development of more efficient logistics and order management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• 3PL & Logistics Coordination: Work closely with external warehouses, manufacturers, hauliers and transport providers to ensure seamless operations.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal Sales and Supply Chain teams, supporting promotional activity and customer requirements.
• Transport & Delivery Performance: Monitor delivery performance, investigate recurring issues and implement preventative measures.
• KPI Reporting: Track logistics performance and service levels, supporting regular reporting and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Process Improvement: Support the development and implementation of more efficient logistics and order management processes.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in Logistics Coordination, ideally within FMCG.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating with third-party logistics providers, warehouses or transport partners would be beneficial.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
• An interest in developing a long-term career within supply chain and logistics.
• Degree-level education or equivalent relevant experience.
