Job summary

The Right Hire Recruitment Ltd is seeking an organised Logistics Coordinator to oversee transport operations across the UK and Europe. You will plan schedules, coordinate with dispatch teams and external providers, and ensure documentation and compliance are handled efficiently and accurately.

Ideal candidates will have experience in transport coordination, strong IT skills (Excel and ERP systems) and a proactive approach to problem solving within a busy logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound transport activities across the business.
• Plan collections, deliveries and transport schedules to meet operational demands.

• Allocate driver jobs and maintain accurate transport schedules using transport management systems.
• Coordinate European import and export shipments, ensuring customs compliance and accurate documentation.
• Monitor transport performance, resolve operational issues and elevate delays where necessary.
• Maintain transport records and systems, including ERP platforms.
• Work closely with internal departments to improve processes and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and transport regulations.

Right Hire Recruitment is seeking a motivated Logistics Coordinator to manage and coordinate transport operations, ensuring the efficient, compliant and timely movement of goods across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all inbound and outbound transport activities across the business.
• Plan collections, deliveries and transport schedules to meet operational demands.
• Liaise with despatch teams and external transport providers to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage transport documentation, delivery notes and quality certifications.

What We're Looking For
