Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly organised Logistics Coordinator to join our team. You will play a key role in managing the flow of goods from production to delivery, including planning and scheduling imports from around the world.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about logistics and supply chain management to join a dynamic company and contribute to its growth.

The role

You will coordinate the movement of goods nationally and internationally, arranging and scheduling transport, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery. You will also need a working knowledge of import/export documentation, including HS codes, taxes and bills of lading.

Key responsibilities

• Use transportation management systems to track and manage shipments
• Coordinate with suppliers, carriers and customers to keep logistics running smoothly
• Analyse and optimise supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipment status and delivery times
• Carry out quality control checks on shipments to ensure compliance with company standards

Experience

You will have experience in logistics, supply chain management or a related field, with a strong understanding of logistics operations including shipping and receiving, and familiarity with transportation management systems. Experience with 3PL providers and transport companies is beneficial. You will communicate well and work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
