Job summary

Impact Recruitment is seeking a Logistics Administrator in Wellingborough to join a busy logistics operation on a long-term temporary basis. You will work directly with carriers to resolve delivery issues, arrange re-deliveries and drive accurate documentation and reporting.

The role requires experience dealing with logistics carriers, strong communication skills by phone and email, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment using Excel and Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• Experienced within logistics, transport, distribution or supply chain administration.
• Confident communicating with carriers by phone and email.
• Comfortable investigating delivery problems and resolving issues.
• Organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
• Confident using Excel and other Microsoft Office systems.
• Detail-focused with a methodical approach to administration.
• A good communicator who can work effectively with both internal teams and external providers.
• Experience with ERP systems, carrier portals or Power BI would be useful, but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with logistics carriers and transport providers to investigate failed, delayed, damaged or missing deliveries.
• Arranging re-deliveries and progressing claims where required.
• Investigating delivery discrepancies and following issues through to resolution.
• Maintaining accurate records, reports and spreadsheets.
• Managing proof of delivery information and supporting invoicing queries.
• Working with internal teams, customers and external logistics partners to resolve delivery issues.
• Providing general administrative support to the wider logistics team.
