Job summary

Calor Gas Ltd. is seeking a Customer Service driven Logistics Agent for our Manchester site. The role focuses on maintaining safety, inventory accuracy, and efficient transport planning, supported by SAP, Salesforce and Tru Tac systems.

You will handle orders, stock receipts, and driver coordination while ensuring high standards of customer service across multiple channels. A proactive, team-oriented approach and strong administrative skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support site management in achieving compliance obligations, inventory, financial, health and safety, and transport.
• Contribute to a safety-first operation and drive towards an incident free workplace.
• Proactive Health & Safety management through daily walkabouts and issue resolution.
• Place orders on system for delivery/collection using SAP.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls for customer orders and queries using Salesforce.
• Receipt stock in/out and enter stock counts onto system.
• Raise and receipt Purchase Orders and maintain stock levels.
• Review daily aborts, cancels and fill returns.
• Support drivers in reviewing daily runs and printing loading sheets/manifests.
• Track drivers through Telematics system.
• General housekeeping.

Hours: 5 days per week (covering Monday-Sunday rota)

Contract Type: Full Time / Permanent

Join our dynamic team and take a proactive role in upholding site safety standards, maintaining meticulous inventory and financial controls, and assisting in transport planning through effective customer master data management. This customer-focused position demands exceptional customer service skills across various communication platforms.

We are looking to recruit a Customer Service driven Logistics Agent for our site in Manchester.

Responsibilities

• Support site management in achieving compliance obligations, inventory, financial, health and safety, and transport.
• Contribute to a safety-first operation and drive towards an incident free workplace.
• Proactive approach to Health & Safety Management by undertaking site daily walkabouts, identifying Safety Observations, Near Misses and ensuring any actions raised are dealt with in timely fashion.
• Place orders on system for delivery/collection using SAP.
• Take Inbound/outbound calls for customer orders, queries, and general information, utilizing Salesforce programme.
• Receipt stock in/out received in barrels.
• Inventory stock control, complete physical stock counts and be able to enter stock counts onto system.
• Raise and receipt Purchase orders and ensure correct stock levels are maintained.
• Review daily aborts, cancels, and fill returns.
• Support drivers in reviewing daily runs, printing loading sheets and manifests.
• Track our drivers through Telematics system.
• General housekeeping.
