Job summary

MTrec Recruitment are proudly representing our specialist services client in their recruitment for a Logistics Administrator. The role will lead a team of skilled operatives and oversee the day-to-day operations of the business.

You will manage import/export customs entries, organise courier shipments, support bookings and quotes, keep customers updated on shipment progress, and assist other internal teams to reduce workloads. This is a busy, hands-on role within a close-knit team.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Administrative/support role within the logistics or transport industries.
• Good communication skills at all levels.
• Able to work well in a small team.
• IT literate (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Import/export customs entries
• Organising courier shipments
• Assisting transport and logistics departments with bookings, queries and quotes
• Updating customers on shipment progress
• Support other internal departments to help reduce excessive workloads
• Any other reasonable duties as required
