Job summary

Kinetic plc in Ellesmere Port is seeking a Logistics Administrator to support the daily delivery schedule and vendor communications in a fast-paced FMCG site. The role involves coordinating with hauliers, managing stock reservations in D365, and processing delivery documentation.

The position runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, on-site with a 6-month contract and potential to go permanent. The rate is £13.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year's administration experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
• Experience handling high volumes of goods dispatched.
• GCSEs A-C including Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail; able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support daily delivery schedule to maintain service levels.
• Liaise with third-party transport providers for on-time deliveries.
• Monitor haulage performance and maintain customer service.
• Prepare and collate daily collection and delivery documentation.
• Update customer delivery details and communicate special requirements.
• Book customer deliveries via telephone and online portals.
• Confirm next-day loads and transport rates with hauliers by email.
• Manage stock reservations using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
• Check and approve transport invoices.
