Job summary

ALS in Hawarden, Flintshire is seeking a Logistics Administrator to keep our laboratory logistics running smoothly, coordinating collections and courier relationships, and serving as the first point of contact for couriers and clients.

You will book sample collections, resolve issues, and work with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries, while maintaining accurate records and following ISO 17025 and our quality system.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an administrative, logistics or customer-facing role.
• Confident communicator handling calls with couriers, clients and internal teams.
• Strong IT skills including Excel and Outlook, with ability to learn internal systems.
• Able to work accurately under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing calls with couriers and clients professionally and efficiently
• Book and coordinate sample collections, ensuring alignment with laboratory schedules
• Resolve logistics issues and queries promptly, keeping all parties informed
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth collections and deliveries
• Maintain accurate records of bookings, collections and communications
• Work in line with ISO 17025 and our quality management system
