Job description

Locum Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist

Ackerman Pierce are looking for a Locum Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to support children from 0-5 years with eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties.

This team works within the North East Quadrant of Surrey, which includes the boroughs of Spelthorne, Elmbridge, Epsom & Ewell.

We are looking for a therapist who can work at least 2 days a week (7.5 hours per day), must have their own transport, and can drive.

Requirements for the Paeds Speech and Language Therapist:

1. Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
2. Be a specialist with proven skills and experience to engage and deliver therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs.
3. Experience in supporting teams around a child or young person to ensure they are provided with clinically informed living and learning environments and experiences.
4. Be a confident, engaging, effective model, guide, leader, and trainer.
5. Be highly organised and ready to take the initiative.
6. Be committed to ensuring the best outcomes for young people.
