Job description

Locum Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist

Ackerman Pierce is looking for a Locum Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to support children from 0-5 years with eating, drinking, and swallowing difficulties.

This team works within the North East Quadrant of Surrey, including the boroughs of Spelthorne, Elmbridge, Epsom & Ewell.

We are seeking a Therapist who can work at least 2 days a week (7.5 hours per day). Candidates must have their own transport and be able to drive.

Pay Rate: £34/hour

Requirements for the Paeds Speech and Language Therapist:

1. Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
2. Have proven skills and experience to engage and deliver therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs.
3. Experience supporting teams around a child or young person to ensure they receive clinically informed living and learning environments and experiences.
4. Be a confident, engaging, effective model, guide, leader, and trainer.
5. Be highly organized and proactive.
6. Be committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people.
