The appointee may work at Newark Hospital within the trust, joining a multidisciplinary Breast Service for North Nottinghamshire, Mansfield, Ashfield and Newark districts. Flexibility across two sites is expected.

Qualifikationen

• 2 years experience in an oncoplastic unit.
• Willing to work across two sites (Sutton in Ashfield and Newark).
• Experience supervising junior medical staff and participating in teaching/education activity.

Aufgaben

• Provide a service to Sherwood Forest Hospitals with responsibility for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illness.
• Out-of-hours responsibilities, including participation in Consultant on-call rota where applicable.
• Cover for colleagues' annual leave and other authorised absences.
• Take on any special interest as required.
• Supervise junior medical staff and ensure HR policies are followed.
• Teach, examine and contribute to undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing medical education activities.
