Job summary

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust at Wycombe Hospital is seeking a Specialty Doctor in Breast Surgery to start January 2027. The appointee will assist in elective breast surgery, outpatient clinics, inpatient cover and preparation of the weekly multidisciplinary meeting as well as the oncoplastic MDM.

The post offers scope to operate within competencies and develop further in oncoplastic breast surgery with support from the consultant body.

Qualifications

• MB ChB or equivalent qualification required.
• MRCS/FRCS qualifications expected.
• ATLS certification beneficial.
• GMC registration with Licence to Practice in the UK is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist in elective breast surgery, outpatient clinics and inpatient cover.
• Prepare and participate in weekly multidisciplinary meetings (MDM).
• Develop further competencies in oncoplastic breast surgery and reconstruction.
