Job summary

A medical staffing agency is seeking a Medical Clerical Support Officer to provide vital administrative support at Chepstow Barracks. The ideal candidate must have previous experience with MOD and familiarity with DMICP. Responsibilities include managing documentation and receptionist duties. This is a full-time locum position with immediate start available.

Qualifications

  • Satisfactory previous experience of providing clerical support in a clinical environment.
  • Previous experience of working with MOD.
  • Knowledge of DMICP.

MOD Medical Clerical Support Officer

Chepstow

Full Time Locum

Dream Medical are working with the Ministry of Defence and require a medical clerical support officer to work in the Chepstow Barracks to start asap on a 4 week contract (post funded until 16 Dec 16, and may be extended)

OBJECTIVES
  • Provide administrative support to facilitate the provision of the appropriate standard of PHC to all military personnel.
  • Completing returns and Taskers as required within timescales.
Duties And Responsibilities
  • Medical Receptionist duties including front desk, booking appointments, query answering
  • Administration of documentation including file management (electronic and hard copy), note taking, letter writing and typing from dictation.
Qualifications Minima And Experience
  • Satisfactory previous experience of providing clerical support in a clinical environment.
  • Previous experience of working with MOD.
  • Knowledge of DMICP.

Due to current situation, previous MOD experience and DMICP knowledge are essential, as there will be no-one on site to act as trainer. Please note that applications without MOD and DMICP experience will not be considered
